Fancy Dress Talent Show for Bal Sanskaar - Montessori and KG Section, was conducted on 13th November. Mrs. Madhu Vasant Horatti, W/o Mr. Vasant Horatti Chairman of Oxford College, Mrs. Usha S. Mane and Mrs. Pratibha Harlappanavar were the chief guests and the judges for the most colorful event.

Children's day was celebrated in a unique way with joy and fun. Teachers presented a Fancy Dress Show and a skit based on class rooms chaos for the entertaiment of the students. Mrs.Pallavi Khanna, B.C member took lead in paying respects to the portrait of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishna and also in organising fun games for all the students.

Quiz was conducted for the Bal Sanskaar - Montessori, LKG & UKG. It was a unique experince for the tiny tots. There were 3, 4, 5 rounds respectively. Four groups of 8 - 10 students were made from each class of Bal Sanskaar. It was conducted in the usual way the quizzes are conducted. Children enjoyed this confidence building process.

The New Administration block was inaugurated last week. The office was functioning temperarily from a room in the academic block of the school. A separate Administration Block was constructed to prevent any disturbance from the visitors who come to the office. Now the Academic and Administration block are independent.

Swaagat Divas : June 1st A day of Harmony and Universal Brotherhood. School re-opening day. Religious head of different faiths inaugurated the day and prayed for a successful year for the students. In the benign presence of His Holiness Shrimaan Niranjan Jagadguru Gurusiddarajayogendra Mahaswamiji of Moorusavirmath, Hubli. Shri. K. B. Desai, Trustee, Samyukta Karnataka and Shri. Veeranna Savadi, the first citizen, His Excellence. Hon. Mayor of Hubli-Dharwad, Rev. Father Shyam Anthony, Gyani. Surendra Singhji, Priest of Gurudwara, Hubli, Maulana Mohammad Ali, Priest of Islam, were the Special Guests on the day.

Due to the prevalence of Japanese Encephalitis (Brain Fever), as recommended by the Govt on Saturday of 20th June, 2009, Brain Fever Vaccines were administered to all our children from Montessori to std IX. It was done under the supervision of Dr. Shankar M Tukkannavar and his team from Chitguppi Hospital and students of the KLE Nursing College also ably supported him.

School Parliament Installation was held on 11th July, 2009 The Chief Guest Mrs. Kalpana K Chaturvedi, Patron of Sanskaar E.M.School and Chairperson of SWR WWO and the Guest of Honor Prof. R. Nataraj, Principal of J G College of Commerce did the honors.

“Ek Anokha Bandhan-Apnon ke sang”- Raksha Bandhan was celebrated by SANSKAAR, in special way on 05th August, 2009, with the visually impaired boys of the Govt. School for Blind Boys, near Sri Siddharoodh Muth. Sisters from Sanskaar tied Rakhis to their brothers there.

August 15: Independence Day: Sanskaar English Medium School proudly celebrated the 63rd Independence Day. Mr. Rajan Anvekar, a leading architect was the chief Guest. Children presented cultural programs and karate display.

Airport Visit: On 31st August and 1st September, 2009, Students of Bal Sanskaar – Montessori, Lower KG and Upper KG were taken to Airport.

Sanskaar conducted “Interschool Debate Competition for Teachers” on Saturday, 12th September, 2009. Mr. P.S. Vastrad, I.A.S. Commissioner, HDMC, the Chief Guest, inaugurated the event. Dr. Purnima Pattanshetti, an Educationist, residing in Belgaum and Mrs. Manjula Mathew, Principal, Oxford College,were the Judges and the Guest of Honor.

On Saturday, 19th September, 2009 - to mark the celebration of World Grand Parents Day, “AJJA-AJJI - HARSHOTHSAVA” was arranged for the grandparents of our students. Lots of interesting games and programs were arranged for them, like honoring the partner with a paper garland, needle and thread, bombing the city, etc. Shri. Natwarlalji Sanghvi, Chairman, Vivekanand Hospital and Shri. G.M. Chikmathji, President of SJMV Sangh and a senior citizen were the special guests.

On Friday, 2nd October, 2009, celebrated “Bapu’s 140th and Lal Bahadur Shastriji’s 104th Birthday in our premises. Along with the Music teacher’s rendition of “Raghupati Raaghava Rajaram”, Gandhiji’s ‘three monkeys’ gave a strong message. Through the three monkeys, ‘Do not speak evil, see evil and hear evil’, Ganghiji gave the loudest and timeless message ever which reaches all the corners of the earth, understood by every language of humans.
